This michelada-style cocktail packs the perfect thirst quenching power of a summer drink with a spicy savory punch. So, ditch the vodka and create your own beer bloody mary with Goose IPA. It’s also said to be a great hangover cure — imagine that!
2 quarts tomato juice
3 tablespoons freshly grated horseradish root, or to taste
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
Juice of one lime
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 six pack of Goose IPA
Combine all ingredients except the beer in a large pitcher.
Fill a beer mug or glass 1/3 of the way full with the Red Draw mix. Fill the rest of the way with beer and garnish with lime wedge.
Makes 5-6 servings
Optional: Wet the rim of your glass with a wedge of lime and dip it in the salt.
